Dani Or awarded Langbein Lecture
Dani Or has received the honour to deliver the Walter B. Langbein Lecture during the AGU Fall Meeting in December 2018 in Washington, DC.

Dani Or has been a full Professor for Soil and Terrestrial Environmental Physics at ETH Zurich since August 2008 and has been elected as a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) in 2010. After James Kirchner in 2016, he is the second in the Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS) to be honored with the Langbein Lecture.
The Langbein Lecture is named after Walter B. Langbein (1907-1982), a pioneer in hydrology and geomorphology, and has been awarded by the AGU since 1992. The lectures recognize distinguished scientists with proven leadership in their fields of science.
